it safe to use your credit card in our shopping cart ? |
| The answer is YES. We use a Secure Sockets Layer
(SSL)
shopping cart so your personal information, including your name, address AND credit card
information is scrambled (i.e. encrypted) when you submit your order, making it completely
secure as it travels over the Internet. Did you know that e-mail is not
secure so please don't send your credit card information by e-mail. |

You will know you're in the "secure" area of our shopping
cart when you
click on the "Check out here" button. Notice that the
"http" portion of our Web site address in your browser changes to
"https." The "s" stands for "secure." In
addition, both Netscape and Internet Explorer use special symbols to
indicate that you're in a Web site's secure area. (Earlier versions of
Netscape use a highlighted key. More recent versions of Netscape and all
versions of Internet Explorer show a closed, highlighted lock.) Some
browsers let you know that you're moving in or out of a secure area by
notifying you with a special pop-up window that requires you to click
"ok" before continuing. |
